We had a brief meeting today after school. We smoothed out the details of the bracelets, and decided that we would use the phrase “The Weapon We Have Is Love” and we would use the two-tone house colors. Soon about 20 bracelets for each house color scheme will be purchased and we’ll begin to sell them around the school. You can see a preview of what they’ll look like on facebook.
Then we talked more about the Rowling Stone magazine. We still aren’t sure how we’re going to distribute it, but we’re playing around with the idea of giving it out in school and possibly having some sort of online content as well. As for the content itself, interviews, campaign information, and different fan-based submissions, such as fanfics or fanart are all being considered. What do you guys think? Let us know!
Finally we decided that meeting once a week was a little too often - only a few members showed up to this meeting, which makes us think that once a week is pushing it! We all have busy lives :)
Hope to see you next week!

Not in Harry’s Name has three ways for you to show Warner Brothers that we’re not going to just sit here while they tarnish Harry Potter’s good name with their…
We had a meeting today! For those of you who couldn’t make it, we discussed our new goal - participating in the Not In Harry’s Name mission - as well as the idea of creating a magazine for the Rowling Stones. We also decided to meet weekly instead of twice a month.
We also had some other exciting news - Dana went to the 5th Quidditch World Cup and spoke to the founder of the Harry Potter Alliance, Andrew Slack! She got a video of him addressing the Rowling Stones.
Hope to see you guys at the next meeting!
